Our productions
The ALSAGRO company practises cereal farming which today exceeds the average yield of the country. In Romania we find one of the richest soils in Europe, also called “cernoziom”, this black soil is easy to work and guarantees a good yield.
We cultivate almost 4,500 hectares divided into 3 large blocks over a maximum distance of 30 kilometres. Every year, for logistics and optimization of operations, our productions are grouped by geographical sectors.
As for our crops, we mainly produce wheat, barley, sunflower and rapeseed. However, for sustainable agriculture, we also produce alfalfa and hay seeds, so as to extend the crop rotation, allowing the land to restructure and rest. It is also a source of natural nitrogen supply for our soils, which increases fertility by reducing chemical inputs.
